To say, "It has been a crazy year!" would be putting it mildly. Emotionally draining would be a more accurate term with all its highs and lows. It started off so promising. Shot a nice buck on the second day of the year. (End of the 2019 deer season.)
We started planning our wedding the day after deer season ended. Spent 3 months doing that, to have Covid come in like a wrecking ball the week before our original wedding date. At the same time, we began renovating the house at the end of last November. I feel like I have never worked so hard in my life. After working all day, we would spend our nights working on the house and on the weekends we would work on the house and/or our land. We got the living almost done this summer.
Had a great float trip in May with some close friends, not knowing at the time it was going to be the last time I would ever get to see my boy, Rudy. He passed away the week of our honeymoon, moments after texting me congrats on my marriage.
Yes. After 6 additional months of waiting, my fiancé and I finally got married and got to go on our honeymoon and see the beautiful Smoky Mountains.
Finally, spent the time to take glimpseoftheoutdoors.com live to share my outdoor adventures with the world. Go check it out! It's still a working progress and need to shut off the parallax effect on Windows, as those are always buggy, but at least the content is fun!
With two months left in 2020, I am honestly ready to just hibernate through to 2021 at this point. But, we all know that is not going to happen as it is deer season once again and I am ready to go! lol I hope to post a little more often in the future, but definitely can't make any promises. Catch you all later.
